Servicing & Mechanics
Dave’s Auto & Marine offer a range of services for your vehicle, including logbook and major servicing. As licensed mechanics, we use only the highest quality parts and perform full log book servicing, preserving your factory warranty. To ensure your vehicle’s longevity and to keep your car operating correctly and safely it is recommended that your vehicle is serviced every 10,000km or every six months, to maintain the safety and performance of your car.
Car Diagnosis
Do you have a warning light flashing or shining on your dash when you start your car or driving? Dave’s Auto & Marine has modern ECU scanning equipment to diagnose and re-set any error code in all makes and vehicle models. We help you get to the bottom of any issue and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Roadworthy certificates
In Queensland a roadworthy certificate or (RWC) is called a Safety Certificate. During the safety inspection, we look at brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, windscreen, lights and all aspects of the vehicle that could affect the safety of your car, including body damage and rust.

FAQ’s
Will I void my new car warranty if I don’t go back to my dealership?
NO! Dave’s Auto & Marine can complete your regular log book services without voiding your warranty. We will stamp and sign your logbook & we will use parts that meet or surpass the OEM standards. We offer complete logbook servicing and it often works out much cheaper than going back to your new car dealer.
What is a logbook service?
A logbook service is a service of your vehicle according to the manufacturer’s specified service schedule. Which is necessary to maintain your dealer warranty. When you have your new car serviced with Dave’s auto & Marine, we strictly follow the manufacturer’s handbook service specifications, then stamp your logbook.
All work is carried out by our fully qualified mechanics, using only premium quality parts and products.
I need a Road Worthy, Can you come to me?
We are licensed Roadworthy tester for vehicles & trailers We can carry out all necessary repairs required to obtain a Road Worthy Certificate. We can come to your home, work or marina from the Sunshine coast to Manly.
Do you service other vehicles or just cars?
Daves Auto & marine specialises in all repairs to late model cars, vans and light trucks up to 4.5 tonnes. We also service Marine inboards, outboards.
